Beyond the Vulpecula Meadows lies a vast forest adorned with ancient kitsune temples, archways, and dens. Colossal fungi, mighty trees, and glowing purple swamps await you as you explore the rolling hills and deep caverns in your search for 100 Power Stars. Where nothing is as it seems, you must keep your wits about you as you try to see through the sneaky fox spirits' tricks!

Sly Foxes! 1 - 36

Thirty-six tricky kitsune spirits taunt you with illusions of fake Stars. You only need to collect one of them!

Red Quadrants: Red!

You're faced with four Red Coin Stars at once! And there's only 2 Red Coins to be found! How does this work?

Red Quadrants: Blue!

Red Coins only count towards the Star they are closest to, or so it seems. Lure both Lakitu into the same quadrant before pilfering their Red Coins! Remember to grab the activated Star before liven'ting to a different timeline!

Red Quadrants: White!

Each Red Coin Star requires both Red Coins to activate. A Red Coin collected in two different quadrants will leave you trapped with two half-activated Stars in a doomed timeline!

Red Quadrants: Brick!

Have no fear, you're still collecting 8 Red Coins, just across 4 different timelines!

Scuttlebug Jamboree!

Eleven bugs be having a scuttle of a time. Better put a stop to it right quick!

Lucky Scuttlebug!

One of the bugs is extra shiny!

Seven Grove Blues: 1!

Seven mysterious coins shine with power!

Seven Grove Blues: 2!

All Blue Coins should be visible from the blue mushroom that holds the Blue Coin Switches!

Mash a Blue Coin Switch and race to one of the coins!

Seven Grove Blues: 4!

Grabbing a Blue Coin will call a star to the Great Shroom sprouting from the central tree!

Seven Grove Blues: 5!

Don't be too proud to grab a Double Time Badge beforehand!

With only 9 Blue Switches, you can only afford to fail twice!

Don't fret too much about running out of buttons. Some other coin challenge will have you jumping timelines anyway. Just don't forget to collect the Stars you already earned first!
